In Store Terms & Conditions
Customer Service is important to Little Ripley Shop and we endeavour not only to comply with UK Consumer Guidelines but go above and beyond with communication and exploring every option available to us to provide you, the Customer with the best service possible.
We endeavour to create a respectful and positive atmosphere regardless of the circumstances. Grievances are held with the greatest respect and understanding to inconvenience, disappointment and frustration that comes when purchases do not live up to expectation. Abuse is not tolerated. Complaints will be investigated fully and outcomes will be provided if requested and does not compete with right to privacy or GDPR.
In Store Refund & Returns Policy
You may return new items in their original condition - for example still packaged or unworn - within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Refunds or returns within 12 HOURS of purchase will be made in Store Credit (in the form of a credit voucher). Cash refund resumes beyond the 12 hour period. (Rights are reserved for discretion or special circumstances)
Items purchased which pierce the body - for example - earrings or sets which include earrings will be exempt from the returns policy due to hygiene. Please keep this at the forefront if you are purchasing for a gift. Some items are also available separately so feel free to contact us at contact@littleripleyshop.com and we can help you find the perfect gift!
Should the item be faulty we endeavour to repair the item and return it to the original standard within 30 days. The process will be within the guidelines of the UK Consumer Rights Act.
Gift Vouchers are exempt from expiry and can be used for the lifetime of the store. (Regardless of changes in location or trading name)
Special order services are available to customers in order precure items out with the stores usual remit. Special orders can only be made in person at the store and a deposit which is 20% of the items final value must be paid. Special orders have no refund available. Should an item go un-collected or un-paid for 90 days the item will be placed on general sale. You may be asked for contact details for notifications.
We also offer a lay away service for rarer items for customers to pay up an item or collect later. Lay away can be made in person and a deposit which is 20% of the items final value must be paid immediately. Terms and length of lay away will be made on a case by case basis. (For example as £60 item in lay away requires £12 deposit. £10 per week for 4 weeks. The item will be stored for 4 weeks.) You will be requested to provide contact details for notifications.

Booking Terms and Condition - The Tavern
The community space is available for either advanced booking or walk in use. Bookings can made in person, over the phone, online or via email. Booking is complete once a confirmation email has been provided and applicable deposit has been made. We reserve the right to fill unattended bookings with walk in parties after 15 minutes of delay if not notified. No show/no call deposits will not be refunded.
Booking slots are allocated for one hour on the hour. Slots include set up and take down time for activities. Arranged event booking do not include set up and take down time from the booking hour.
Private capacity bookings incur a mandatory deposit.
All out of hours bookings require a mandatory deposit.
Day bookings do not require a deposit to be paid unless requested. (You may be requested to provide a deposit if you are booking a large party of individuals for the majority of the day.)
Community Guidelines 2023 at The Tavern Terms & Conditions
Our multi use space can be used for many community activities. However, we strictly prohibit illegal activities on site. Using the space for illegal or inappropriate purpose - for example exchange of stolen/copied materials or activist group discussions will not be permitted. Licenced gaming activities ARE NOT permitted at The Tavern - for example, games for profit like Poker.
Inappropriate or illegal conduct may result not only in a permanent ban from The Tavern but from Little Ripley as a whole and if necessary a report to the authority.
Breach of any conduct terms & conditions may result in a permanent ban from The Tavern and Little Ripley as a whole.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on bullying or ANY HATE SPEECH. We will provide no three strikes policy and upon investigation if you are proven to be a negative impact on the community you will be banned indefinitely and not refunded.
NO SMOKING or VAPING may take place inside or within 5 meters of the doorway of the premises.
ALCOHOL is NOT PERMITTED to be consumed on site.
We are an INCLUSIVE community and everyone is welcome. Tolerance and Respect are the benchmark of the social atmosphere. Anonymity if desired will be respected by all members - do not give private/personal details you may know of other members (Address/place of work/contact details). Political discussion may be requested to cease in the event it becomes argumentative or disrespectful. Discussions of other members private affairs will not be permitted. Boundaries will be respected at all times. Breach of these terms may result in a complete ban from the premises.
Behaviour considered HATE SPEACH or ILLEGAL ACTIVITY (including theft from the store or members area) will result in a PERMANENT BAN but also may be reported to the Police for further investigation.
As a community these guidelines are subject to evolve and be created by the community itself.
Refund Policy - The Tavern
We reserve the right to refund on a case by case basis where necessary.
No show/no call deposits will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where breach of Conduct has been committed. Refer to our conduct terms & conditions for further details.
Full refunds will be provided when cancellation occurs more than seven days prior to the booking.
Partial refunds will be provided where cancellation is between 24hours and six days prior to the booking.
We reserve the right for Refunds to be based on discretion when 24 hours or less prior to the booking.

Online Refunds and Returns Policy
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can not offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:

- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days.
Late or missing refunds

Sale items
Sale items may be specified 'TO CLEAR.' In this case the items are non-returnable.
Exchanges

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be made aware of the return.
Shipping returns

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
