Discord!……

….our Discord is live.

As we venture in to a more community spirited space we wanted to provide a method of communication that can still retain a level of safety (moderation and rules) and anonymity. Using our Discord server means members do not need to share/swap person social media accounts, phone numbers or handles to people they don’t know yet.

Discord is a good place to get started to get to know other members online as it provides a shared online chat. Members can also share images and links (as per guidelines) and use it similarly to social media.

Our Discord has an open invitation link so anyone can join/view or interact in certain rooms. We also have a Members only suite which is invitation only and only Members of Little Ripley & The Tavern can access those specific areas.

Other Discord features allow the ability to broadcast audio and video. We definitely want to utilise this feature in future to expand event audiences and allow Members to watch/listen and interact from home. It also allows for less local Members to participate as we expect some may wish to become Members and support us but cannot regularly travel to get the most out of the Member benefits.

Our Discord is ALWAYS active and we have it on our mobile device to either participate or monitor our rooms.
