Our resources….Norse

We sell so many items with fascinating histories, mythology and facts we wanted to include some information on those items on our very own website.

Ultimately it seemed easier to have all the information in one place that also connected with our store than links to here, there and everywhere all over the internet. Some information can be quite in depth and we feel a shortened explanation covers most questions put us. Just enough to spark and interest that may compel a reader to continue research off site.

We have started with Norse information to cover Runes, Rune Reading and Symbolism in the Viking Age, thereafter or mythology. Our aim is to keep it simple and more of a guide or reference for either customers or ourselves because we want to be consistent with our references!

Our Norse information page is now live on our website for reference and viewing. It was really interesting and educational to put together these resource pages and we are definitely more equipped with knowledge for our return to High Street retail.

Relevant products have been used for symbol images so you can identify the actual item we have investigated.

Research can be extensive on the Viking Age or Norse Mythology because much of it is based on evidence that has been interpreted. That interpretation can provide for several meanings. To help you continue your own research we have included links to websites we have used for references.
